This is a very personal drawing in my sketchbook that was started almost 3 years ago, just before getting pregnant with my twin girls and have now finished it. This drawing was left behind because a lot of things were going on in my life at the moment while drawing it that i wanted to go on with my life, accept and be strong with the two little lives that are with me now. I will be turned this drawing into a painting soon.

My brain has been filled with many ideas exploring 'The Colony' series. This drawing "The Colony Escape" was inspired of a dream I had while drawing a smaller sketch. It explores the vulnerability a group must encounter while escaping an area of what or whom... Well that will come soon.
